Safe'n'Sec Personal Pro Plus Anti-Spyware can be a good choice for this last task. This comprehensive security tool defends your system from spyware, malware and other kinds of malicious software that may be regarded as a threat for your online privacy and integrity.

Safe'n'Sec Personal Pro Plus Anti-Spyware is based on the so-called Host Intrusion Prevention System, which means that it analyzes the behavior of applications, services and any other suspicious elements and then decides if they can be trusted or not. The program runs in the background and detects malware in real time, but you can also analyze your whole system at any time. These checks though must be run by the user, as there's no way to schedule them.

The program features two interface designs, the Simple one (recommended for most users) and the Advanced one, for the tech-savvy. Either way I must admit I found the program a bit confusing and not very intuitive to use. Plus I didn't like to have each program function opening up in a different window.
